The College of Hairdressing, Connaught have been one of the first in the country to offer the new and improved Level 2 National Vocational Qualification in Hairdresssing, the City & Guilds Diploma In Hairdressing (3008). The college offers this award because of the standard of assessment which requires students to be assessed in a real salon environment with paying customers as opposed to mannequin head assessments as used by other colleges.  Students who attain this award have to demonstrate a standard of excellence to graduate as a confident and highly employable hairdresser.
