Dear Client,
Thank you for attending the College of Hairdressing Connaught. Your business is greatly appreciated as our students are required to provide services on live clients.
As we are a College there are differences to Commercial Salons:
Time
Our students are training so please allow at least 2 hours for a cut and blow dry. A colour or highlights could take up to 3 hours or longer. Please do not put any pressure on our students to finish early. Our priority is getting the students trained to do the job properly, timing will improve with experience.
Consultation
Our students are required to complete a 'consultation' with each client. Even if you have been here before and want the same colour please do not tell the student it is 'on file'. The student is required to try and pick a colour.
After Consultation
Please do not instruct a student directly as to how to do the service. Students have been trained in a particular way. After consultation if you have any further concerns then please tell the student you would like to speak to a tutor.
Please note the services are complete to the level of a Training Stylist not a fully qualified stylist, and to keep this in mind when volunteering to be a client at the college.
