Castlebar: Student Information

Students may find the following information useful

Equipment

Student must bring their own equipment and accessories to include: scissors, brushes, combs, gloves, hairdryers and other relevant equipment for the chosen course.

FEES
The College offers a payment plan for Part Time Phase 1 and Phase 2 courses. Short term courses: 100% of course fee for short-term courses are payable at least 2 weeks in advance of course start date. Should a student not be able to attend a course, the fees and deposits are not refundable nor transferrable to another date. Non successful students whose assessments are not completed within the time frame of the long term course dates will incur an hourly fee of 75 euro.

CONDUCT
Students are expected to attend all lectures within their chosen course. Students are also strongly advised to avail of study time within and outside the above mentioned course time. The consent of either parent or guardian is mandatory for those under 18 who wish to participate in any of the courses. Neat dress and attention to detail regarding appearance, grooming and personal hygiene are essential. Conduct unbecoming of a trainee will result in his/her suspension from the course. The course co-ordinator reserves the right to terminate any student's course in the event of conduct/demeanour unbecoming of the profession.

HOLIDAYS
The Satellite centre is closed for the months of December and August.
